Mutts Coming to the Big Screen Thanks to Fox
20th Century Fox is developing an animated feature version of the comic strip MUTTS, reports Heat Vision. MUTTS creator Patrick McDonnell and his brother Robert McDonnell will pen the script.
The strip follows Earl the Jack Russell terrier, who lives with his bachelor owner Ozzie, and Mooch the tuxedo cat, who lives with Millie and Frank, and their interactions with the animals and humans in their neighborhood.
Patrick McDonnell will also exec produce. Ralph Millero will oversee for Fox Animation.
