IESB reports that Todd McFarlane is in negotiations to produce another SPAWN film. McFarlane said that he hopes to write and direct the new film. Offers for the film have been put out to five studios with budgets ranging from big tentpole releases to indie sized productions. McFarlane is leaning toward the smaller film, which would be "creepy."

Also coming down the road, McFarlane talked about developing a new animated series for Cartoon Network and said he will regain the rights to produce a SPAWN animated series at the end the year.
