Mal Chance Gets Producer, Writer

Platinum Studios and producer Tony Krantz (MULHOLLAND DRIVE) have hired writer Scott Murphy to adapt the Platinum graphic novel MAL CHANCE into a feature film, according to VARIETY. Platinum Studios CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg will also produce.

The comic follows Lola, a member of a clan of assassins who are set for assassination themselves by a gangster. She decides her only way to survive is to team up with the FBI to take down the gangsters.

Greenberg Group's Randy Greenberg and Flame Ventures' Ross Dinerstein will exec produce.
