Magnet Releasing has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to 13 ASSASSINS from Takashi Miike, reports Variety. The remake of the 1963 samurai flick follows a Japanese samurai who puts together a gang of swordsmen to kill the shogun's brother. Magnet plans to put the film in theaters at the beginning of 2011.
