Producer Don Hahn told EMPIRE that he is getting a 3-D conversion of THE LION KING together. He will be working on the project when he returns from London where he is prepping Tim Burton's FRANKENWEENIE.

Hahn also said that fans of WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT will be very happy soon and that the live-action Sleeping Beauty tale MALEFICENT reported to be directed by Burton will happen eventually. But he did have bad news for Disney's 2D SNOW QUEEN project. Due to story problems the project has been shelved for the time being.
