Leonardo Da Vinci: Action Hero?
Warner Bros. has optioned a treatment for LEONARDO DA VINCI AND THE SOLDIERS OF FOREVER, which will turn the famed painter and inventor into an action hero, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Adrian Askarieh, Vertigo's Roy Lee and Doug Davison are producing.
In Askarieh's treatment, Da Vinci is part of a secret society that searches to uncover secrets regarding demons, lost civilizations, hidden fortresses and fallen angels.
Jon Berg is shepherding for the WB.

Found an article at examiner.com with more detailed information. I can't attest to its accuracy though.
I think this is interesting news. I'm not really sure what to make of da Vinci as an action hero. I guess I'll just have to wait to see it.
