Lawrence to Embrace Snow and the Seven
Francis Lawrence (CONSTANTINE) will helm SNOW AND THE SEVEN, Walt Disney Pictures' live-action East-meets-West version of the SNOW WHITE fairy tale, reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
Scott Rudin and Andrew Gunn are producing the fantasy adventure about a British girl raised in 19th-century Hong Kong, who must prepare to fight an evil force by training with seven Saolin monks.
The current draft of the script is by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas. However, it’s only a working title, with a start date in 2008 and China as the likely location of the shoot.
