Iron Man Team May Play Cowboys and Aliens
IRON MAN 2 director Jon Favreau is eyeing COWBOYS AND ALIENS as his next project reports Variety. Favreau may find himself working yet again, with Robert Downey Jr., who has been attached to the DreamWorks/Universal project since 2008.
LOST’s Damon Lindelof will re-team with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (STAR TREK 2). The threesome are penning the C and A script based on the Platinum Studios Comics graphic novel.
Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer and Ron Howard will produce alongside Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks and Universal will co-finance. A summer 2010 production start is expected.
COWBOYS AND ALIENS was acquired by Universal and DreamWorks in 1997.
