Imprint Dials Up Phone Remake

Imprint Ent. has teamed with South Korea's Mirovision to remake the 2002 horror film  THE PHONE, reports VARIETY. Original's director Ahn Byung-ki will helm the redux. The story follows cell phone owners who die in mysterious way.

The production will film in Seoul, South Korea with American and Korean actors. The $10 million film will start production in the first half 2010, anticipating an end of the year release.
