IFC Films has set the release date for James Gunn's SUPER, reports ComingSoon.net. The dark superhero satire will hit theaters on April 1, 2011. The comedy stars Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page and Kevin Bacon. The story follows an average Joe named Frank (Wilson) who becomes a masked vigilante called the Crimson Bolt after his wife (Liv Tyler) hooks up with a drug dealer (Bacon). He eventually takes on a sidekick named Boltie (Page), an enthusiastic comic shop worker.
