Star Wars fans, take a deep breath and make sure you’re sitting down. George Lucas, creator of the greatest space saga of all time, has declared that the Star Wars franchise is finished…FOREVER.

TMZ caught the celebrated filmmaker outside of Los Angeles restaurant Toast, asking when fans could expect the next installments of the franchise. Judging from Lucas’ answer, it looks like the series will be frozen in carbon for the rest of time.

What we really want to know, however, is how did he get that awesome parking spot?!
