Elf Musical to Hit Broadway

The long-in-development stage musical adaptation of the Will Ferrell-vehicle ELF will debut at the Hirschfeld Theater on November 2, reports VARIETY. Composer Matthew Sklar and lyricist Chad Beguelin wrote the music and Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin the book. THE DROWSY CHAPERONE's Casey Nicholaw is directing. Warner Bros. Theater Ventures is producing with Unique Features. The production will open on Nov. 10th and run until Jan. 2.
