Here's the first trailer for Dreamworks Animation's latest animated feature, The Croods, starring the voices of Emma Stone, Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, and Catherine Keener.

In the film, a prehistoric family, led by a caveman father named Grug (Nicolas Cage) are living peacefully in the same rock formations that they have been accustomed to for centuries when the curiosity of their bright young daughter, named Eep (Emma Stone) mistakenly starts a rock slide that opens up a whole new world for the family to explore.

The Croods opens in theaters next spring on March 22, 2013.
