Production Weekly reports that QUARANTINE directors John Erick and Drew Dowdle are set to helm AFRAID, based on Jack Kilborn's novel. Larry Malkin & Chad Thumann penned the script. The story follows an aging county sheriff, a firefighter and a single mom as they try to save their town from a murdering force unleashed after a helicopter crashes nearby.
