With less than a month to go, Walt Disney Pictures has released a new clip, “Lightning,” from Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, which shows more footage from the black-and-white stop motion film.

Meet substitute teacher Mr. Ryzkruski and learn about the power of electricity:

After the death of his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring him back to life. Victor tries to hide his creation, but Sparky gets out and unintentionally causes havoc in the town.

Frankenweenie is scheduled for release into theaters on October 5, 2012. It will be the first black-and-white feature and first stop-motion film to be released in IMAX 3D.
