Shane and Carey Van Dyke, the grandsons of Dick Van Dyke, have sold their horror/sci-fi spec THE WATCHING HOUR to New Line, reports Variety. Mad Hatter Ent.’s Michael Connolly and Disruption Ent.’s Mary Parent are the producers. Cale Boyter will serve as some kind of producer as well. Disruption has a first-look deal with Paramount.
