CONAN THE BARBARIAN director Marcus Nispel has inked a deal with Liquid Comics to create a comic book series titled THE CHOSEN, reports Deadline.com. The story follows a Detroit teen who discover that he is the reincarnation of an Eastern spiritual master, which lead him on a journey to confront the Mumbai underground gangs.

Nispel devised the story with Liquid co-founders Gotham Chopra and Sharad Devarajan. Nispel had been developing the idea as a movie script.

The three-issue comic will hit stores in February.
