Comic Strip Zits Coming to TV

Writer-producer Donald Todd is bringing a live-action adaptation of the comic strip ZITS to TV, reports Deadline.com. Jerry Bruckheimer TV is producing.

ZITS follows Jeremy Duncan, a sardonic, angst-filled 16-year-old. Jim Borgman and Jerry Scott created the comic strip, which is syndicated by King Features to over 1,600 newspapers in 45 countries.

Todd will pen the script and exec produce alongside Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Scott and Borgman. KristieAnne Reed is co-exec producer.
