Children of Men Producer Picks Up Psychopomp
Hilary Shor, a producer on CHILDREN OF MEN, has optioned Blake Leibel's script PSYCHOPOMP, reports Heat Vision. Shor will produce with Leibel's Fantasy Prone partner Lawrence Longo.
The story follows a cussing anti-hero who uses high-tech weapons to kill those that go against his code of honor. The spirit of the story is described as a cross between THE DARK KNIGHT and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE.
Fantasy Prone is also in works on a PSYCHOPOMP graphic novel.
Leibel has also had a turn in the animation world, having directed episodes of SPACEBALLS: THE ANIMATED SERIES.
