Heat Vision reveals the voice cast for Warner Premiere's upcoming BATMAN: YEAR ONE. Ben McKenzie (TV's SOUTHLAND) will play Bruce Wayne as the millionaire starts his life as Batman. Bryan Cranston (TV's BREAKING BAD) takes the role of Lieutenant James Gordon, who forms a partnership with the Caped Crusader vigilante. Eliza Dushku (TV's DOLLHOUSE) takes the part of Catwoman and Katee Sackhoff (TV's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) as Gordon's lover interest, Detective Sarah Essen. Alex Rocco (THE GODFATHER) will play mobster Carmine Falcone.

Lauren Montgomery (GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT) is directing the direct-to-DVD title. Tab Murphy (TARZAN) penned the script, based on Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's 1987 four-issue comic series. Bruce Timm is the exec producer.

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation are the production companies.

The film is set for release this fall.
