Asterisk Animation has produced 25 minutes of hand-drawn animation for the PBS documentary THE BUDDHA, which premieres April 7th. David Grubin directed the film with Brian O'Connell and Richard O'Connor producing and directing the animation.

Asterisk produced and directed all the animation in New York. The sequences depict several "unfilmable" pieces, including legends of the Buddha's life and visualizations of his teaching.
