Affeck, Belle Join Paradise Lost
Oscar-nominee Casey Affleck and Camilla Belle have boarded Legendary Pictures' PARADISE LOST, reports Variety. The trade also reports that Diego Boneta (ROCK OF AGES) is the lead contender for Adam. Alex Proyas (THE CROW) is the director.
Affleck will play the messenger angel Gabriel, while Belle takes the role of Eve. Bradley Cooper and Ben Walker star as the archangels Lucifer and Michael, respectively, in the adaptation of John Milton's poem. Djimon Hounsou will play angel of death Abdiel.
Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni, and Vincent Newman are the producers. Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi penned the first draft. Stuart Hazeldine provided the most substantial rewrite with polishes from Lawrence Kasdan and Ryan Condal.
Warner Bros. will distribute the epic production.
