Producer-director-writer William Butler’s Transition Entertainment inks a first-look deal with Starz Animation’s Film Roman.
Producer-director-writer William Butler’s Transition Entertainment has been inked to a first-look deal by Starz Animation’s Film Roman.
Butler and his Transition team, which includes three-time Emmy Award winner John Vulich, will work with Film Roman’s General Manager, Head of Production Dana Booton, to assist in the development and creation of animated and live-action content for all platforms.

Butler has recently completed producing and writing duties on the half-hour comedy pilot Waffle Hut (Transition Entertainment) and is currently producing/directing the fourth season of Disney’s Game On. Butler previously wrote and directed the horror-thriller Madhouse (Lionsgate/Lakeshore) and thriller Furnace (Melee Entertainment/Genius).
