Creative strategic design agency eyeball announces the addition of David Edelstein as Managing Director, Broadcast, and Danny Rosenbloom as Managing Director, Commercials.

Creative strategic design agency eyeball announced the addition of David Edelstein as Managing Director, Broadcast, and Danny Rosenbloom as Managing Director, Commercials. In their new roles, Edelstein and Rosenbloom will work closely with Managing Partner/Executive Producer Ben Spivak on expanding the agency’s three core businesses: Broadcast, Commercials and Client Direct, respectively.

L: David Edelstein R: Danny RosenbloomEdelstein and Rosenbloom each bring more than 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, sales and production management, and will continue to build on eyeball’s steady evolution into a fully integrated creative and digital agency, working with such clients as Amazon, AOL, Trident, Ringling Circus, MTV and A&E.

“We have a 20-year history of success in both broadcast and commercials,” says Spivak. “Having them involved in the growth of our company will only yield the best experiences for eyeball and our clients. We're grateful they’re just as excited to join us as we are to have them.”

Edelstein, a veteran producer whose background includes working in broadcast design, promo production and commercials, comes from Click 3X, where he was Managing Director for more than four years and worked on high-profile projects, including the Super Bowl on CBS. Prior to Click 3X, he helped launch Nth Degree Creative Group; as Managing Director, he oversaw the full branding campaign for “Live Earth,” as well as projects for Microsoft, National Geographic, HGTV, CBS, MSG Network, and National Hockey League.

After holding a producer position at Showtime for four years, Edelstein co-founded broadcast design company [fdg] in 2000, working on notable projects such as the re-launch of the Sci Fi channel. He has also leveraged his expertise in the education field, serving as an adjunct instructor at NYU and the Parsons School of Design teaching career development courses at both schools.

“I’m excited to expand on the incredible work eyeball has done in broadcast,” says Edelstein. “This is the space I’m most passionate about, and have a deep understanding of. Beyond the great design and storytelling that eyeball is already known for, I want people to also see the strategic thinking that goes behind every idea. We can conceive and complete everything entirely in-house – or we can act as a creative partner to our clients. We love working in both ways.”

Rosenbloom was most recently the managing director of Brand New School where he was also a partner and previously executive producer. During this time, he was instrumental in guiding the company’s transition from a primarily design and animation studio into a multi-division, integrated production company, working in all media and across multiple offices (Los Angeles, New York and London).

He has served on the East Coast Board of Directors, National Labor Board and the National Digital Board of Directors (where he is also a founding member) of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP). Rosenbloom also has extensive past experience as an executive producer, including two years at Manic and two separate stints at Psyop.

“My early career in NY was as a painter and sculptor, so design studios have always resonated with me,” says Rosenbloom. “However, working at this level, I’m able to look at the company creatively and strategically. eyeball is a company that’s doing branding from a unique position, building on its roots in design and production in a smart and sustainable way. Coming from the commercial side of the business, I feel I can continue the momentum here to achieve even greater success for eyeball across the whole spectrum of the industry.”
