Press Release from V&S Entertainment

Cannes, 3rd October 2011 – V&S Entertainment, a leading UK independent children’s media company, has concluded a significant deal for its flagship animated pre-school series Everything’s Rosie with Vme, one of America’s largest Spanish language networks.

The acquisition, which includes all 52 x 11 minute episodes, will see the HD CGi series Everything’s Rosie launching on Vme’s daily four-hour pre-school block, Vme Niños, and on its 24/7 cable channel Vme Kids in Autumn 2011.  Vme, the 24 hour Spanish network, is currently available in more than 10 million Hispanic homes, and Vme Kids, launched in 2010, is the second channel from Vme, providing Spanish-language children’s content.

Vickie Corner, Managing Director at V&S Entertainment commented, “Everything’s Rosie holds great appeal for international broadcasters, with strong themes of friendship, discovery and fun. As we arrive here at MIPCOM, this new deal with Vme is a fantastic landmark in the global success story of the series, enabling Everything’s Rosie to reach a host of new pre-schoolers and their families throughout the US.”

"Vme is the only Spanish-language network offering extensive children’s programming daily -- we take our role as a leader in kids programming seriously. Everything’s Rosie is a great addition to our lineup that will introduce young viewers to important lessons about friendship and foster an understanding that will last them a lifetime,” added Doris Vogelmann, director of programming and acquisitions for Vme.

This new acquisition follows the recent signing of the second series of Everything’s Rosie by Spain’s public service broadcaster RTVE for its 24-hour children’s channel CLANTV.  The first series delivered phenomenal ratings for the channel, achieving a 64% share in the 4-6 year old age group.

Inspiring and imaginative, with first class production values, Everything’s Rosie is an outstanding HD CGI animated pre-school series, packed with laughter, discovery and timeless life lessons.  Positive, bright and engaging, the series follows Rosie and her best friend Raggles, together with a colourful cast of characters, as they embark on exciting adventures, and discover the meaning of true friendship.  Rosie’s world is set in a contemporary, safe and playful environment which blends ultra-modern design with eco-friendly themes. Stimulating, educating and entertaining in equal measure, with strong appeal to boys and girls aged 3 to 6 years, Everything’s Rosie (52 x 11’) is produced and distributed worldwide by V&S Entertainment.
