WGA and Medialab "Rewriting the Future"

The Writers Guild of America's Media and Technologies Committee and Medialab present "Rewriting the Future," a discussion on the impact of new technologies on traditional storytelling. Harry Shearer, actor, comedian, and voice of several characters on "The Simpsons," will perform as a live virtual character created by Medialab. In addition, Francis Ford Coppola will appear in a video presentation. Admission is free and the event takes place at 7:30 p.m., at the Writers Guild Theater, 135 South Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills.
