Twenty-four French production and distribution companies, organized by TV France International, are expected to attend Discop East in Budapest, June 22-24, 2006, at the Sofitel Atrium Hotel.

This is the highest number of companies ever represented at the TV France International stand, which has been attending the central and eastern European marketplace for 12 consecutive years. Discop East will give French companies the opportunity to further strengthen ties with exes from the CIS, and Russia, many of whom they recently met at the Moscow Teleshow, which featured 80 acquisition and programming execs from the region.

French participants include 10 Francs, 2001 Audiovisuel, AB International Distribution, Alphanim, Arte France, Canal France International, Carrere Group, Celluloid Dreams, CNDP/Sceren, Dargaud Distribution, Europe Images International, France Télévisions Distribution, Futurikon, Marathon International, Médiamétrie, MK2, M6 DA /SND, System TV, Taffy Ent., Télé Images International, Terranoa, TF1 International, Xilam and ZED.
