The 4th MadCat Women’s International Film Festival showcases women film and videomakers who challenge the use of sound and image and explore notions of visual storytelling. The festival sets its program up thematically and accepts a range of films from various points of view and topics. MadCat 2000 will screen every Tuesday in September 2000 (5,12,19,26) at El Rio Outdoor Cinema, 3158 Mission Street at Precita in San Francisco, California and September 8-9 at the Pacific Film Archive, 2575 Bancroft Way at Bowditch in Berkeley, California.
