Huge Private Collection! Animation Art Auction, December 29, 2001.

On December 29, 2001, American Estate Services and Tracy Luther Auctions will sell, by live auction, the largest single-owner collection of Animation Art ever to be sold at auction in the upper Midwest! 650 total pieces – all sell with no minimums and no reserves! Absentee bids are welcome from those unable to attend – call 651-770-6175 for details.

Take a nostalgic stroll down memory lane as over 650 pieces of animation art from the studios of Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Hanna Barbera and others sell to the highest bidders at this much anticipated auction event! Collectibles have certainly grown in popularity in recent years as Baby Boomers and Generation X’ers scramble for mementos of their childhood. These pieces of art provide tangible remembrance of the beloved cartoon and movie characters we’ve grown to love since the 1940’s. Auction highlights include: Hanna Barbera signed Flintstones’ and Jetsons’ hand painted cels; Disney movie production cels including Beauty & The Beast, Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and others; original art from the 1940’s Disney production Fantasia; advertising animation including the Hamm’s Bear and Jolly Green Giant plus 100’s of Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Winnie the Pooh and other characters. Join us for an auction that promises to be the highlight of the 2001 auction season!
