This year, SIGGRAPH '99, the International Conference on Computer Graphics
and Interactive Techniques, is being held in downtown Los Angeles at the
L.A. Convention Center. The conference program will include papers, panels,
courses, sketches, and applications. The event will also include an
animation festival; art gallery: technOasis; Emerging Technologies: The
Millennium Motel; Creative Applications Lab: The Digital Cafe; and The
Studio showcasing the latest implementations of technology. The Electronic
Schoolhouse will focus on computer graphics and interactive technology
education. AWN will be there! In addition to the conference, the event will
include the world's largest exhibition of computer graphics and interactive
products and services. SIGGRAPH takes place Sunday, August 8 - Friday,
