The Animation Block Party is an animation screening curated by Casey Safron and hosted by Office Ops and The Archive. The event will be showing the best recent films from the top colleges in New York as well as the works from many of the animation professors at these schools like Don Duga, Irra Verbitsky and Candy Kugel. Top independent New York animators such as Howard Beckerman, Bill Plympton, Jeff Scher, Peter Sluskza and Emily Hubley are screening their independent work, and some of their shorts are premiering at the Animation Block Party.
