Eva Green (CASINO ROYALE) is in talks to join the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ 300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA, reports Heat Vision. Noam Murro (SMART PEOPLE) is the director.
The story follows Persian king/god Xerxes and his battle against Themistokles and his undertrained Greek soldiers. Green would take the role of a gold goddess who pushes Xerxes into battle.
Mark Canton, Gianni Nunnari, Bernie Goldman, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Thomas Tull are the producers.
Warner hopes to start filming in Q1 2012.
