9thJune, 2011, London: Escape Studios, the leading CG training academy, has today announced two new classroom courses aimed at aspiring VFX artists looking to further their careers. The Compositing Professional course and Visual Effects Animation Professional course are designed to give those looking to break into the VFX industry the tools to specialise in their chosen areas.
The Compositing Professional course is an eighteen-week course, which follows the same 12 weeks of study as Escape Studios’ existing Compositing for Production course with an added six weeks of advanced subjects including stereoscopic compositing and 3D workflow for compositors. There is also a dedicated project week where students will be able to fine tune their showreels in order to establish themselves as the perfect candidate for their first compositing job.
The Visual Effects Animation Professional course is designed to give artists the skills to fill a vital role between animators and VFX artists. Learning the tools and techniques to create realistic movement in CG objects and characters is at the very heart of this course, and it will give students a range of skills to solve the technical problems posed in animating for VFX.
