Electric Theatre Collective & The Line Animation Open Shop in LA

New Los Angeles HQ to be headed up by executive producer Kate Hitchings joined by head of color Aubrey Woodiwiss.

U.K.-based animation collective The Line Animation and Electric Theatre Collective have opened their doors for business in Los Angeles.

ETC and The Line have taken the world of advertising and film by storm since their launch in 2012, quickly establishing themselves as one of the top post houses in London. From the outset they’ve earned a reputation for quality work, innovation and visionary style, gathering a slew of awards and accolades along the way.

ETC and The Line most recently received critical acclaim for their newly-released ad for Freeview, co-directed by Line directors Sam Taylor and Bjorn-Erik Aschim:

The Line was also nominated for a BAFTA for their short film, Everything I Can See from Here.

Based in a warehouse-style studio just up the road from the beach in Santa Monica, the new Los Angeles HQ is headed up by Rogue Films veteran Kate Hitchings, who joins ETC LA as executive producer, bringing a wealth of production knowledge. Also over from London is the collective’s award-winning Head of Color, Aubrey Woodiwiss.
