Madrid-based Elastic Rights (ER) has snapped up pre-school toon, HARRY AND HIS BUCKET FULL OF DINOSAURS, for distribution across all platforms in Spain and Portugal (except free TV.
The 52x12 animated series, aimed at kids 2-5, is co-produced by CCI Ent. (Canada) and Collingwood OHare (U.K.) in association with Silver Fox Films (U.K.). Based on the best-selling books by British author Ian Whybrow, the enchanting series follows the adventures of five-year-old Harry and his toy dinosaur friends, which come to life when no one else is watching.
ER has already closed broadcast deals for HARRY AND HIS BUCKET FULL OF DINOSAURS with The Playhouse Disney in Spain, set to air the show Monday-Friday from the end of December 2005. In Portugal, the series will launch late January 2006 on RTP.
HARRY AND HIS BUCKET FULL OF DINOSAURS debuted in August 2005 on Cartoon Network´s Pre-school slot Tickle U (U.S.) to critical acclaim. Other European broadcasters committed to the series include Super RTL (Germany) France 5 (France), RTP (Portugal) and Disney Channel (UK).
