Lost Pencil Animation Studios Inc. has released two new training CDs in their Just Animate series, "Lip Sync" and "Facial Expressions and Body Language." Both CDs demonstrate techniques using Lightwave 7.5, "Lip Sync" offers instruction on how to create multiple phoneme mouth morph targets and an animation of a character speaking. "Facial Expressions and Body Language" shows how to create multiple facial morph targets and animation of a character getting surprised, angry and then sad in order to show how facial expressions and body language work together to create effective character animation. Both CDs contain all the source files for the final animations and a fully rigged and textured character model named Mia (the model includes 27 facial morph targets and additional phoneme targets).
