On February 23, 2003, digital media training center Future Media Concepts (FMC), in cooperation with Apple, will kick off its 15-city "FCP to the Max!" tour to bring professional-level Final Cut Pro training seminars to editors across the U.S. and South America. For US$199, the intensive daylong seminars are taught by FMC's team of Apple Certified Instructors, and address the full capabilities of Final Cut Pro for professional production. Sessions cover the entire process of advanced editing on Final Cut Pro, including strategies for working with uncompressed and HD footage; tips for experienced editors; workflows that include third-party software such as Boris, Automatic Duck, Photoshop and After Effects; color correction and finishing techniques; and outputting final projects to DVD using DVD Studio Pro. The course is designed for intermediate and advanced Final Cut Pro users -- professional editors, producers, independent filmmakers, videographers and digital artists. For a list of dates and locations as well as sessions, instructors and online registrations, attendees may visit the seminar Website at www.fmctraining.com/fcp.
