New Westminster, BC -- CG Masters Academy, having opened only six weeks ago, is now in full swing, offering professional upgrade and introductory training seminars as well as industry events and meetings. This first seminar, Houdini 12 BootCamp taught by world renowned Houdini guru Peter Bowmar, was well attended mainly by professional artists seeking a path into learning this powerful software.

Attendee Feedback:

“This was a great session, very well paced and informative.”

“Peter knew how to answer every question.”

“Very good introduction to Houdini.”

“Very open to questions that go outside the course.”

“I would be recommending this to friends and coworkers.”

“My understanding of Houdini has improved greatly and I am confident this has given me enough information to get started with Houdini.”

CG Masters will repeat the Houdini 12 BootCamp on October 27th. There is currently one seat remaining in that seminar. Those interested in attending should go to: http://academy.cg-masters.com/houdini-12-bootcamp/

Last Week, CG Masters hosted the Vancouver Houdini User Group meeting, with the largest attendance ever.  The week before that CG Masters hosted the Vancouver CG Meetup, a large networking event for students and starting professionals seeking paths into the industry.

CG Masters offers fulltime training in feature film quality visual effects; a level of training that makes the school unique in the region.  The first full-time program is slated to start January 7, 2013.  For additional information please visit www.cg-masters.com.
