National Cartoonists Society's 2002 Newspaper Illustrator of the Year and international syndicated cartoonist and illustrator Steve McGarry will speak to animation, videogame, art and design students at The Art Institute of California-Orange County, July 28, 2004 at 11:30 am.

McGarry, creator of popular comic strips POP CULTURE and KID CITY, is a cartoonist and illustrator with more than 25 years of experience. He will discuss career highlights and his impressive body of work with students, faculty and visitors. A retrospective collection of his cartoons and illustrations is on exhibition in The Art Institute's Gallery.
