The submissions process for the 2009 Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is now open. You can submit online through the EIFF website, or download a form and mail, or submit through Withoutabox.
The 63rd EIFF will take place June 17-28, 2009 in Edinburgh. The festival aims to stand internationally as a festival of discovery, a celebration of cinema, a centre of debate, and a catalyst for new films.
EIFF is committed to screening high-quality new film and video work in all genres from around the world. Submitted animated films should be no more than 18 months old by June 2009, and entry for animated films is free.
The McLaren Award for Best New British Animation in Partnership with BBC Film Network has a cash prize of GBP 1,000.
