Building on the key tenets of the franchise including historical accuracy and authenticity, MEDAL OF HONOR HEROES for PSP features an entirely unique storyline and PSP-specific feature set. Players will experience a totally new single player campaign, and can choose from six different multiplayer modes within 15 different maps, while participating in wireless multiplayer sessions with up to 32 players the most ever offered in a PSP games multiplayer infrastructure mode. Up to eight gamers can also play across the room in a local adhoc connection. Quickplay missions in skirmish game mode, allow players to jump right into the action or to create customized mission scenarios for added re-playability.

In MEDAL OF HONOR HEROES players will experience new MoH moments as they battle their way through three campaigns as their favorite lead characters from past MEDAL OF HONOR games. Take on the role of Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson star of both the original MEDAL OF HONOR and MEDAL OF HONOR FRONTLINE in an untold chapter of his time in Holland as part of Operation Market Garden. Play as Sergeant John Baker, from MEDAL OF HONOR ALLIED ASSAULT BREAKTHROUGH, and sabotage German defenses on the Italian coastline to help the invasion forces crack Hitlers iron hold on Europe. Don the officers cap of Lieutenant William Holt from MEDAL OF HONOR EUROPEAN ASSAULT and return to the Ardennes Forest during the Battle of the Bulge to complete unfinished business for the OSS. Along the way, players will unlock more than 20 classic characters to use in multiplayer games, adding both variety and personality to their online experience.

Developed by EA Canada in conjunction with EA Los Angeles, MEDAL OF HONOR HEROES is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and will sell for $39.99.

Earlier in the month, EA shipped BATTLEFIELD 2142 to retailers in North America and Europe for the PC. The game is rated T for Teen and sells for $49.99. The title was developed by Sweden-based developer Digital Illusions.

BATTLEFIELD 2142 drops players into a future ravaged by a new ice age. Players are called to fight for the European Union or the Pan Asian Coalition in an epic battle for survival. Armed with an arsenal of high-tech assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will wage war using some of the most imposing vehicles known to man. Massive Battle Walkers patrol the ground, while futuristic aircraft rule the skies. When facing one of these new behemoths, players will need to use their wits and a selection of new countermeasures like EMP grenades to level the playing field.

BATTLEFIELD 2142 supports online multiplayer for up to 64 players in the Conquest mode and up to 48 players in the new Titan mode, which challenges gamers to use teamwork to destroy their opponents Titan, a massive flying battleship, while defending their own. The game also features a deep new persistence system, with more than 40 ranks, from Recruit to Supreme Commander. Players can also customize their soldier with more than 40 unlockable weapons and gadgets for upwards of 1,000 possible combinations to match any play-style.

Additionally, EA shipped the expansion pack, THE SIMS 2 PETS, for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and PC. THE SIMS 2 PETS builds on the celebrated THE SIMS 2 experience that allows players to create and control digital characters throughout their lives while determining the outcome of their relationships and choosing their destiny. Each version will feature custom content tailored to the platform.

The addition of animal friends gives players the opportunity to choose from a variety of existing breeds and hot designer mixes as well as use the Create-a-Pet feature to create unique pets by designing different body types, choosing unique markings, even defining personalities.

Players will also be able to teach their pet new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job. As in real life, the Sims pets require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isnt wise.

In North America, THE SIMS 2 PETS will be available on Nintendo DS by Nov. 2, 2006, on Game Boy Advance by Nov. 9, 2006 and on the PSP by Nov. 30. In France and the U.K., THE SIMS 2 PETS will be available on Nintendo DS by Oct. 27, 2006. In all other markets, THE SIMS 2 PETS will be available on Nintendo DS by Nov. 3, on Game Boy Advance by Nov. 17, and on the PSP by Dec. 15. A mobile version is coming soon.

Moreover, Electronic Arts shipped TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 07 in North America for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, PSP, PC and Xbox 360.

Players will compete against 21 of the worlds top players, including Tiger Woods, John Daly, Vijay Singh and Annika Sorenstam. TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 07 on the Xbox 360 adds a whole new level with enhanced crowds and galleries that build throughout the week and culminate on Championship Sunday. The Universal Facial Capture or UCAP technology brings realism and emotion to the golf course like never before. The featured UCAP golfers are Tiger Woods, Chris DiMarco, Mike Weir, Colin Montgomerie and Luke Donald. Gamers will be challenged to compete in The FedExCup, the new PGA TOUR championship playoff system that takes the top players to Championship Sunday by accumulating FedEx points during the tournament season. Use the new True Aiming system to place your shots like a pro or develop your drive, chip shots and putts in the new Practice Facility.

Developed by EA Redwood Shores, TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 07 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and sells for $39.95 for Xbox, the PlayStation 2, PSP and PC and for $59.95 for Xbox 360.

In addition, Electronic Arts launched EA SPORTS FIFA SOCCER 07 throughout North America for the PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PC and mobile.

For FIFA SOCCER 07, specially-designed audio replicates the crowd reactions found in stadiums around the world. The dynamic game engine brings to life the emotional response of the crowd during the highs and lows of a match. Crowds respond to what occurs on the pitch by cheering or jeering, and broadcast commentary reflects the momentum swings that play out in games.

This year, players have the power to shape your clubs destiny in the EA SPORTS Interactive Leagues, a new online mode that enables you to pit your club against supporters of your real-world opponents. The online interactive leagues feature the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French Ligue 1 Orange and the Mexican 1st Division.
