e-on Launches Vue 3D Environment Competition

e-on software announced the first Vue 3D Environment Competition in association with five judges representing different fields of the 3D entertainment industry. This competition represents a unique chance for all the Vue users around the world to have their work exposed. The judges are:

* Kevin Mack: visual effects supervisor, Sony Pictures Imageworks (GHOST RIDER)* Susumu Yukuhiro: digital matte supervisor, Industrial Light & Magic (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MANS CHEST)· Simon Percy: Darkside Animation · Stephane Belin: senior concept Artist, Electronic Arts · Jim Thacker: editor, 3D WORLD magazine

Winners will receive:* Vue 6 xStream (Vue 6 Infinite + a choice of 1 xStream plug-in) * 1-year subscription to 3D WORLD magazine * An invitation to participate in e-on's beta testing programs

First runner up will receive:* Vue 6 Infinite (to be released later this year)* 1-year subscription to 3D WORLD magazine * An invitation to participate in the beta testing of Vue

Second runner up will receive:* $200 voucher on Cornucopia3D content * An invitation to participate in the beta testing of Vue

Each of the finalists will receive a $25 voucher on Cornucopia3D.

This competition is opened to all Vue users, regardless of the version they use. Submissions will start May 15, and end June 15.Finalists will be announced June 19, and their images displayed on the competition page at e-onsoftware.com. The final winners will be announced July 1.
