DZP Marketing Adds Veteran Exec Producer Rainville

DZP Marketing Communications (www.dzpusa.com) has added Ray Rainville as the company's exec producer. Rainville comes to DZP following a year as the exec producer of Design VFX for post house Betelgeuse Prods, New York. At Betelgeuse, Rainville led the launch of the Betelgeuse division, BETSY Design VFX, a design/visual effects boutique.

"DZP has grown faster than any of us expected, and because we've been so busy, we needed to have someone in-house who could oversee all of our broadcast work," said Brian Diecks, DZP's exec creative director,"and fortunately for us we found Ray. [He] is a highly-respected producer with experience at both the agency level as well as with some of New York best post/design houses. He not only knows how to execute creative concepts and keep them on budget and on time, but he's also a quick-thinking problem-solver, and someone with the ability to inspire those around him to do great work. He's a tremendous asset to our company."

Prior to Betelgeuse, Rainville was the head of broadcast production for GWhiz Ent. New York, a division of agency Grey Worldwide, New York, whose clients included Time Warner Cable, The Food Network, ABC-TV, Bravo Network, W Hotels and the NHL. Rainville began his career as a producer at Grey Ent., New York, where he worked with John Barker, then the company's svp.

"I am very excited to be part of what John and Brian are building with DZP," said Rainville. "As a producer at Grey Ent. I spent a lot of time working with broadcast designers, which is how I met Brian, and I always thought if you had a company led by someone who knew what John knows about advertising and what Brian knows about design, you'd have a real powerhouse that could both work with the big agencies and also serve its own clients' strategy/branding needs as well. There are a lot of design companies out there that talk about being a 'full-service creative resource' for their clients, but unless you have actual ad agency experience building brands, it's just talk."

In addition, the company has expanded, moving into its new top-floor, 5,000 square foot SoHo loft offices at 455 Broadway. The new DZP space, complete with a large skylight and roof deck, features a spacious conference room with wide screen HD plasma screen monitor, state-of-the-art editing and animation workstations, plenty of additional work space for future staffers and freelancers, and a complete WiFi network for Internet access through out the space, inside and out.

DZP Marketing Communications is an ad agency and production company. Capabilities include advertising, design, brand identity, interactive, strategic consulting and motion graphics.
