DreamWorks Animation Racks Up 21 Daytime Emmy Nominations

DreamWorks Animation Television has been honored with 21 Daytime Emmy nominations for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, with Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters leading the charge with seven nominations -- the most of any animated program -- including Outstanding Special Class Animated Program.

With 21 nominations, DWA TV was the most nominated producer and provider of animation programming.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 30th, 2017. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will also be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, April 28th, 2017.

The full list of nominations for DreamWorks Animation for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is shown below:

Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show -- three nominations

• Outstanding Children’s Animated Program
• Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program
• Outstanding Original Song “Morse Code”

Dinotrux -- two nominations

• Outstanding Sound Mixing Preschool Animated Program
• Outstanding Sound Editing Preschool Animated Program

The Adventures of Puss in Boots -- one nomination

Veggietales in the House -- one nomination

In addition, it was announced earlier this month that the studio was awarded four Daytime Emmys for Individual Achievement in Animation:
