John Balestriere, the lawyer for former Dora the Explorer voice actress Caitlin Sanchez, has said his client had withdrawn her lawsuit against Nickelodeon, MTV Networks and Viacom over a contract dispute, according to The Hollywood Reporter. An agreement has been reached between the parties, but the details of which will remain private.

The now-14-year-old actress lost the job as the voice of the Nick star character after she reached puberty, which had been done before on the show. However, Sanchez and her parents argued that she was given only 22 minutes to sign her contract with a rookie lawyer as her counsel. Additionally, she claims she was never given the merchandising cut and residuals like she was promised and was underpaid for voice work done for promotional uses. Moreover, Balestriere also alleged that Nick went against industry practice when dealing with contracts with minors when it did not have the deal approved by a judge.
