Imagina 2008 recently convened in Monaco again, and Benoit Guerville and Mireille Frenette report back this week on various views concerning the future of VFX. Glen Entis of EA suggested that "the thrill is gone" in his opening presentation, and, not surprisingly, that the new thrill will come from the convergence between movies and videogames, including new developments in Procedural Awareness solutions at EA. Meanwhile, the VES Awards take place on Sunday, with Steven Spielberg receiving the Life Achievement Award. Good luck to all the nominees!
