Digital Domain Promotes Mark Miller to CEO

Mark Miller has replaced Carl Stork as CEO of Digital Domain. The former ILM exec will continue as president and retain his seat on the board of directors. Stork will now serve as vice chairman of the board.

"Mark Miller has two decades of experience in the visual effects industry," said Stork, "and he has demonstrated effective leadership of the company.It's great to recognize Mark's contribution with this promotion to CEO. I certainly plan to remain an active voice in the direction of this company, and I look forward to my new role as vice chairman."

Since arriving at Digital Domain, Miller has overseen the completion of visual effects on such films as TRANSFORMERS, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END, ZODIAC, MEET THE ROBINSONS and the upcoming THE GOLDEN COMPASS.

"I have had a great experience at Digital Domain since joining the team," Miller said, "and I am thrilled with my expanded responsibilities." Co-Chairman Michael Bay pointed out that he and Miller have a long working relationship. "In addition to TRANSFORMERS," Bay said, "Mark has contributed his expertise to several of my films. It's exciting to know that his guidance and vision will carry Digital Domain into the future."
