DIC Gets Fashion Consultant To Tool Tween Trollz

DIC Ent. (DIC) has hired top fashion consultant Estevan Ramos to stylize the all-new "tween" brand TROLLZ. As a consultant for DIC, Ramos will be responsible for creating the overall style guidelines of the TROLLZ brand and forecasting the trends of young teens. Ramos will collaborate with DIC's creative team, spearheaded by Mike Maliani, DIC evp of production creative and Vincent Marchica, DIC's vp of creative in the Consumer Products division.

Nancy Bassett, svp, worldwide consumer products, DIC,comments, "We sought out a designer of Estevan's extraordinary talent to help us to develop a level of fashion and style to the TROLLZ brand identity attuned with the ever-evolving tastes of Generation Y. We recognized that we needed a specialist on our team to be sure we were hitting the right fashion notes and staying on-trend. Estevan's contribution to the development will give TROLLZ licensees a genuine competitive edge."

Ramos is a 16-year fashion design veteran with a client list from the worlds of music, television, film and fashion, including Halle Berry, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Queen Latifah, Janet Jackson, Heather Locklear, Lil' Kim, Mena Suvari, Jessica Alba and Erykah Badu. In 1994, Ramos launched his own signature line under the label Estevan Ramos Clothing for women. His designs have been sold in select shops, as well as major department stores such as Barney's New York, Henri Bendal, Bloomingdales, Nordstroms and Macy's.
