The "based on a true story" project follows a family plagued by a cursed box. Juliet Snowden and Stiles White penned the script based on Leslie Gornstein's L.A. Times article. John Sacchi will shepherd for the studio.
Stan Wertlieb, Peter Schlessel and Nathan Kahane are the exec producers with Stephen Susco, J.R. Young, Nicole Brown and Kelli Konop co-producing.
Production is set to begin January 2011.
