Delve into the VFX of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6

VFX supervisor Joe Bauer and VFX producer Steve Kullback present the visual effects work for the upcoming season of the hit HBO fantasy series in a new featurette with lots of breakdowns and behind the scenes footage.

As fans prepare for the launch of Season 6 of Game on Thrones, HBO has unveiled a new featurette delving into the visual effects created for the new season of the hit fantasy series.

In the new featurette, VFX supervisor Joe Bauer and VFX producer Steve Kullback present the visual effects work for the upcoming season with lots of breakdowns and behind the scenes footage:

HBO also gave viewers an inside look at the prosthetics created for the series with prosthetic designer Barrie Gower:

The visual effects for Game of Thrones -- which have swept the VES Awards for five years running -- are created by Cadence, Clearcut, El Ranchito, Iloura, Image Engine, Karakter, Lola, Mackevision, Pixomondo, Rising Sun Pictures, Rhythm & Hues, Robert Stromberg , Rodeo FX, Screen Scene and The Third Floor.
